With random actors, I didn't catch most of the performer's names, except Doris Roberts, who was the grandma in the movie.
The story is of a middle aged guy who works as a tester in a company that makes computer games. He is single and has just been kicked out of his house, because his roommate was addicted to hookers.
He tries sleeping with his workmate, but he is too much of a boy to be with and an embarrassing incident with his mom, causes him to end up sleeping at work and his new project manager catches him asleep.
Without much choice, he moves in with his grandma and three roomies. Part of movie runs in showing how he lives and passes time with them. At one point, he even teaches his grandma to play on the new computer game that he had been designing for almost 3 years.
At work, with the new project manager, who is very hot, he manages to get in her good books and thereby being a rival to the company's genius, who is a single nerd able to design entire computer games by himself. The nerd likes the manager a lot but is unable to show his 'human' side to her.
Finally, as a revenge, the nerd acts as though he is very sad about the way he is treated at work. He notices the game that that tester has been working on for the past few years and offers to help him with it, but in the end, shows it off as his game. The rest of the movie goes in how the nerd is proved wrong.
The guy who acted as the nerd did a really good job and that is the memorable part that I could take away from the movie. The rest of the movie was a bit of a drag with silly two sided jokes, nudity and drug hallucinations. Some of which, were seemingly unnecessary.
Movie worth a watch, but not much is missed if you don't.
