So I married an axe - murderer

Mike Myers and Nancy Travis act in this movie about a Scottish commitment fearing poet and a butcher with a sketchy background.
Charlie is of Scottish poet, who is fearful of commitment and finds silly reasons to break up with his dates. His mother shows him information on a nomadic murderer, who kills her husband on a honeymoon.
His fear of commitment seems to disappear, when he meets Harriet, a butcher. After dating for a while and some mistakes he makes, they finally marry and set off to the honeymoon. Now he receives a call from his friend saying Charlie's doubt may be right. He tries to escape, but there is an interesting twist at the end, when he finds who the actual murderer and the reason behind the murders are, is.
The story was different than the usual ones. However, I can't really place it on a funny and highly comical movie as one of my workmates claimed. An OK movie worth a watch.
