This was probably this decade's most awaited ending book of the series. J.K.Rowling has permanently carved her name in the world of magical fantasy and fiction. Harry Potter is just as alive to all of us, as he lives through the books.
Being the last book of the series, Rowling promised a racy, non-stop action and surprise ending and she gave it. A well deserved close to the book. Although there were spoilers, true Potter fans would not have been hindered by that. The spoilers lead to a little disappointment, but what are a couple lines of plot leaks versus 600-page exciting roller coaster ride.
Harry is finally about to turn 17 - the year that the protective charm of his mother breaks. Now, he truly needs protection from other wizards, which the Order of the Phoenix is more than happy to give. Although he stays in safety, the task that Dumbledore had entrusted him, makes him leave his warm home.
Along with his most trusted friends, Ron and Hermione, he sets out into the world. They face many trials and even have a close brush with Lord Voldemort himself, but along with all the horrid experiences, they also had enlightening and discoveries, that brought them closer to what Dumbledore had asked them to do.
Many times Harry wants to give up, he is sad about the losses he went through, he is careful not to shed more blood, but he is unable to refuse the help. And finally, he comes face to face with the Dark Lord. Here, I have to stop as it would be gross injustice if I were to give away what happened. Definitely, a book more than worth reading.
