Starring Captain Vijaykanth, Radha, Rekha, Srividya, Goundamani, Senthil, Ravichandran and Radha Ravi, this village based movie outlines the life of a man who was cheated into marriage by his niece.
An age old practice of the uncle marrying his niece is constant theme in these village movies. That drives me nuts and insane. And what is more annoying is how they fit this story into another crappier story about a girl having 2 uncles and both of them wanting to marry her. Such was the start of this story, except the girl was adopted and not a natural daughter.
A government doctor, Sandhya comes in for her job and one of the uncles, Maruthu (the good one) falls in love with her. The girl, Pandimeena, feels threatened and puts up an act to get her uncle back.
The movie seemed so stale and threateningly boring that I couldn't watch the movie any further. Definitely not a movie to watch for sane people.
