khakhee

With a megastars cast of Amitabh Bachchan, Ajay Devgan, Akshay Kumar, Aishwarya Rai, Tushar Kapoor, Khakhee is a story of a group of honest cops and a terror suspect stuck in the game of politics.
A doctor is truthful to his work and he refuses to submit a fake death certificate for a political murder. He is threatened and meets a reporter who is interested in exposing the evil politicians. In a bid to be an honest citizen, he collaborates with him. The bad guy kills the reporter and most of the doctor's family. The doctor gets arrested for treason and his story is blown out of proportion by media.
A group of honest cops, headed by Bachchan get the responsibility of taking the doctor to the court. The bad guys don't want that to happen and keep hindering their movements and pushing them into the jaws of death.
The turn of events and the end was a good treat to hang on to throughout the movie. Songs weren't that captivating. The visual treat was the dil dooba song with the cute dance set.
A great performance by Akshay Kumar and Ajay Devgan. Devgan has much untapped deep potential to be harnessed. I have never been a great fan of Bachchan or Rai and thus, I would make a pass on them.
