With the initial cast reappearing and a few new faces, X-men 2 was a good sequel.
While visiting Magneto, Dr.X and Scott are captured by a mutant manipulator. Using his mental prowess, the manipulator wants to destroy all other mutants on the planet.
Magneto escapes from his plastic prison. The way he did was very neat. He joins forces with the 'nice' mutants to try save Dr.X.
Along the saving venture, some romantic scenes between Logan and Dr. Jean Gray - once with the real and once with Mystique. The scene with Mystique is really goose bump worthy. To think you kissed your love, a friend and someone like your little sister is nasty.
In the end, after some interesting action and twists, the 'nice' mutants numbers decreases by one and the world is saved too.
At some point in time, the action movies have to bring in the 'saving the world' thing. But a good movie for some good action.
