Swordfish

John Travolta, Halle Berry and Hugh Jackman star in this hacking cum terror based movie.
Movie begins with the present in which Gabriel is holding people hostage and he is cacking away about movie and direction. For a second, I was wondering where his spiel was taking me. Finally after he finished, he calls Stan over and they return to "work".
Movie spins to flashback where Stan is an ex-convict-hacker living in a rotten and run down trailer house with a menial job. Enters Ginger to convince Stan to meet Gabriel. She seems to be knowing everything about him and finally convinces him to meet Gabriel.
A suspect, another hacker (who is known to Stan), is held at the airport and is killed by Gabriel's men.
When Stan meets Gabriel, he is put to a precarious test and passes. With the lure of money to get his daughter back, Stan proceeds to develop some impediment to a massive system to get into a bank account for a fortune.
Interesting twist of events during the climax. Although the ending was pretty neat to watch, most of movie, I felt sort of lost and never understood what on earth Gabriel's character was upto. I guess that was the point of the movie to make in the viewpoint of Stan. But I couldn't understand why a man would get involved with it. An OK movie, tolerable for Jackman's fans.
